Public Relations
- Anticipate, analyze and interpret public opinion and attitudes of the public towards the organization;
- Plan, develop and implement PR strategies to increase awareness of Brunei Darussalam as a tourist destination, domestically and internationally;
- Liaise with and answering enquiries from media, organizations and public, via telephone, emails and other platforms;
- Research, prepare and distribute press releases to targeted media;
- Organize press conferences and prepare info-kit for media;
- Coordinate and provide presentations for Tourism Department to local and foreign delegations visiting the Ministry;
- Manage and update information through online communications and engage with users on social media sites;
- Monitor the digital marketing performance of Brunei Tourism’s social media, search marketing, website analytics, email and others;
- Develop a crisis public relations strategy;
- Ensure proper scheduling of Project supervisors manning the tourist information centres (TICs);
- Organize familiarization visits in/to Brunei for local and international media.
Events & Promotions
- Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate tourism events and Brunei Tourism promotional campaigns;
- Prepare corporate presentation slides and supervise the production of publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes;
- Promote, monitor and update accurate and relevant content and information in printed and digital promotional materials;
- Market intelligence analysis, gathering and monitoring;
- Coordinate with relevant authorities for facilitation or hosting of MICE events;
- Conceptualize and assist international events held in Brunei, and coordinate their cross border and international marketing;
- Organize/prepare for trade fairs, road shows, sales calls and business matching activities for travel agents, both locally and internationally.
