15 Pemandu Pelancong Sertai Latihan Kecemerlangan Perkhidmatan Pelanggan
Bandar Seri Begawan, 8 Julai 2026 – Latihan Kecemerlangan Perkhidmatan Pelanggan bagi Industri Hospitaliti dan Pelancongan telah diadakan selama tiga hari dari 6 hingga 8 Julai 2026 melalui kerjasama antara Jabatan Kemajuan Pelancongan, Kementerian Ekonomi, Perdagangan dan Industri dengan SEAMEO Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH). Seramai 15 orang pemandu pelancong berdaftar telah menyertai latihan tersebut.
Brunei Hosts BIMP-EAGA Seminar on Halal Food Services in Tourism
Bandar Seri Begawan, 1 July 2026 – The BIMP-EAGA Seminar on Halal Food Services in Tourism: Best Operational Practices was held on 1 July 2026 in Brunei Darussalam as part of the Brunei Mid-Year Conferences and Events (Brunei MYCE) 2026. The seminar was organised by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) through the Tourism Development Department in collaboration with the Faculty of Halal Science and Sustainable Tourism and the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre of Universiti Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).

Led by Yang Mulia Haji Mohd Yusree Haji Junaidi, Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the delegation engaged with regional counterparts under the theme “Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together.”

Bandar Seri Begawan, 27 Jun 2026 – Jabatan Kemajuan Pelancongan bersama Agensi-Agensi Pelancongan yang terdiri daripada 40 orang pemandu pelancong yang berdaftar dan berlesen di bawah Jabatan Kemajuan Pelancongan telahpun menghadiri ceramah bertemakan Selami Sejarah Borneo, anjuran Pusat Sejarah Brunei, Kementerian Kebudayaan, Belia dan Sukan melalui Pusat Pengkajian Borneo yang bertempat di Bangunan Pusat Pengkajian Borneo pada Hari Sabtu 27hb Jun 2026.
